From time to time Homeless International organises Dialogue events to bring together urban development practitioners from civil society, government, professional bodies, academia, donors, multilateral and bilateral agencies, and other interested parties. Most importantly, Homeless International aims to facilitate the involvement of those at the sharp end of development – poor communities, organisations of the poor and their NGO allies – so that they can describe and demonstrate their ideas, priorities, capacities, experiences and lessons to other development stakeholders. Many of these events have showcased the work of Homeless International's partner organisations in developing countries – click here to read more about them.
