World Habitat Day takes place on the first Monday of October each year and for Homeless International it marks the beginning of World Habitat Week. World Habitat Week is about helping the billion people across the world who lack adequate shelter - it's also about having lots of fun! There are two easy ways to get involved this year and you will find all you need to get started right here.
Give an hour's pay
Giving an hour's pay is a simple, quick and effective way to show your support during World Habitat Week. You can donate securely online at www.justgiving.com/worldhabitatweek10 or complete our donation form and send us your donation by post (cheque/CAF cheque/credit card only).
Why not get friends and colleagues involved? To run the Hour's Pay appeal in your office, download your free Hour's Pay pack, which contains instructions on how to run the appeal and an Employee Authorisation Form for staff to complete. If you have already received our fundraising pack by post and need further copies of the employee authorisation form or poster, download these using the links at the bottom of this page.
Do your own thing
There are lots of ways to raise money for Homeless International by doing your own thing for World Habitat Week. How about a fashion show... coffee morning... quiz night... cake sale... sponsored swim... dress down day... car washing?
