It's really easy to take part.
Firstly, you need to ask your staff to complete the Employee Authorisation form and organise the agreed donation from the next salary run.
Top Tip! It will be a lot easier for you to administer if the deduction is made after tax. If the employee simply ticks the Gift Aid option we'll be ablle to sort out reclaiming the tax on the donation. This is really important because we can boost their donations by a minimum of 25% using this simple procedure.
Secondly, you'll need to use the Donation Record spreadsheet to keep a track of all doantions.
Top Tip! Don't forget staff can also organise fundraising activities to support the campaign.
Thirdly, you'll need to publicise your organisation's commitment to the appeal.
Use the attached poster and flyer to let you employees know about the Hour's Pay Appeal.
Top Tip! Add your logo to any promotional items to ensure everyone knows your organisation is matching employee donations and fundraising activities.
Putting a a notice in your employee wage packets, notice boards and in your company newsletter and intranet will ensure everyone knows who to contact and how they can support the appeal.
